What to bring:
Whatever wilderness experience you choose, your safety and comfort
are important to us. Please note:
- We supply all safety equipment including life jackets and
waterproof jackets.
- We highly recommended the use of sunglasses, sun block, sun
hat and insect repellent, especially in the summer months.
- In winter warm clothes are required. We recommend a fleece
jacket, warm hat and gloves and a windproof/waterproof outer
jacket.
- For eco-trekking options you will need to take a picnic lunch
and an adequate water supply.
- Wilkin River Jets reserves the right to amend any trip to
suit the local weather conditions.
How to find us:
Inside New Zealand Wilderness Adventures and Wilkin River Jets
are situated at Makarora on the Haast Pass Highway (SH 6), between
Lake Wanaka and Fox Glacier.
Driving times:
Fox Glacier – 3 hours
Queenstown – 2 hours
Lake Wanaka – 45 mins |
